Who WARN are
The World Animal Rescue Network is a registered global not-for-profit animal welfare organisation, incorporated in England and Wales as a Community Interest Company (company no. 17298990). It funds vetted, partner-led rescue across 17 countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Africa, Southern Africa and South America — under the slogan “No animal beyond our reach”.
Its programmes include street-dog CNVR (a WHO-endorsed humane alternative to culling) in Pakistani cities, sanctuary and rehabilitation capacity for rescued orangutans, slow lorises, pangolins and bears in Indonesia and Malaysia, anti-trafficking work for parrots and other wildlife, and sterilisation and triage for community cats. WARN is not a registered charity, so Gift Aid does not apply — it publishes its registration status openly.
How we support them
10% of PETHEALTH+'s commercial net profits fund the World Animal Rescue Network. That pledge applies to the revenue described on our how we make money page — enhanced and featured vet listings, labelled sponsored placements and partner links. It costs you nothing as a reader: every 244 of our health guides and the vet directory stay free.
The partnership never shapes our editorial content. Guides are reviewed against UK veterinary guidance, and WARN has no say in what we publish — the same independence promise we make about commercial partners.
