Compare UK vet fees

Pick a county to compare consultation, vaccination, neutering and prescription fees that practices have published on their own websites. We do not fill gaps with estimates.

Quick answer

938 of 6028 practices in the PETHEALTH+ directory currently publish a price list we have verified. Choose a county below for a side-by-side table of those lists. Counties with no verified lists yet are marked honestly — use the UK Vet Price Index for typical national ranges, then ask the clinic for a written estimate.

Compare a county

The selector only includes counties where at least one practice has a verified list. You will land on a real table, not another directory of cards.

What the tables include

Columns follow CMA-standard categories. A service appears in a county table only when at least one clinic there publishes that fee. Counts below are national — open a county to compare them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I compare vet fees in my area?
Open a county on this page to see a side-by-side table of every practice there whose own website we have verified a price list from. 938 of 6028 directory listings currently have at least one published fee. If your county has none yet, use the UK Vet Price Index for typical ranges and ask the practice for a written estimate.
Why is a practice missing from the comparison table?
We never invent a fee. A practice appears in the table only when we have copied figures from its own published price list. Missing does not mean expensive or cheap — it means we have not verified a list yet. The practice still appears in the county directory.
Are vets required to publish their prices online?
Yes. Under the CMA's 2026 veterinary market remedies, UK practices must publish standard price lists on their websites and provide written estimates for treatments expected to cost £500 or more. We add verified lists as they appear.
How is this different from the UK Vet Price Index?
The Price Index is a quarterly table of typical UK ranges for journalists and owners. This comparator shows individual practice fees from published lists, county by county. Use both: the index for a national picture, the county table for clinics that have actually posted numbers.
