Privacy policy

PETHEALTH+ is designed to need almost nothing from you. You can read every guide without an account, and we run no advertising and sell no data. This policy explains the limited personal data we process, the lawful bases for it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

PETHEALTH+ is published by ELITE DIGITAL AI SOLUTIONS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17250017), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. ELITE DIGITAL AI SOLUTIONS LTD is the data controller responsible for the limited personal data described below. You can verify our company details on the Companies House register. For any privacy question, email us at hello@elitedigitalagency.io.

No accounts, no advertising, no data sales

The site has no login, registration or user accounts, so we do not ask you to create a profile or store contact details to use it. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and we do not use third-party ad tracking. We may use cookieless aggregate web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand page usage — not to build marketing profiles about you.

What data we process

  • Server and hosting logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records technical information when a page is served — such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. We use this only to deliver the site securely, diagnose faults and protect against abuse.
  • Aggregate web analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless service that records anonymous page-view statistics (such as which pages were visited and approximate referrer). It does not use advertising cookies and is not used to profile you for marketing.
  • Voluntary donations. If you choose to make a one-off donation, the payment is processed entirely by Stripe. Stripe is the payment processor and acts as a separate data controller for your payment details — we never see or store your card number. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Correspondence you send us. If you write to us, we receive the details and contents of your message, which we use only to respond.

Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies only and set no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We may use cookieless aggregate web analytics as described above. If you use Stripe to make a donation, Stripe may set its own cookies as part of its checkout and fraud-prevention. For full details see our cookie notice.

Our lawful bases

  • Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure, available and free from abuse (server and hosting logs), and for responding to enquiries you send us.
  • Contract and legitimate interests for processing a donation you have chosen to make and keeping the records we are required to keep.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Server and hosting logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting and then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course. Records relating to donations are retained for as long as required to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to rectify, erase or restrict it. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests and, where applicable, request portability of data you have provided. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@elitedigitalagency.io. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

Complaints to the ICO

We hope to resolve any concern directly, but you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.

International transfers

Our hosting provider and Stripe may process some data on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) as required by data protection law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if our hosting or payment arrangements change. Any new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
